  1. T-Helper Lymphocyte 
  2. A lymphocyte that amplifies the normal immune response.  When stimulated by an antigen-presenting cell, such as a macrophage, T-helper cells release factors that stimulate proliferation of B lymphocytes and attract cells key to the immune response.
